Wren came tearing into Thursday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Southside Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Wren took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-3, 25-11.

Wren's win bumped their record up to 25-6-1. As for Southside, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Wren will challenge rival Westside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Southside is set to square off against their familiar foe Fountain Inn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
