Wren entered their tilt with Southside on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Wren took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-3, 25-11.

Colbie Wade paced Wren's offense, picking up 14 kills. Wade got some help from Emma Kate Garrison and her 23 assists. Garrison was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

Wren's victory bumped their record up to 25-6-1. As for Southside, they dropped their record down to 3-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Wren has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Westside on the 14th. As for Southside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Fountain Inn on the 14th.
