Football Recap: Paramount Pirates vs. Compton Tarbabes
Paramount put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 47-29 victory over the Compton Tarbabes. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pirates also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

Despite the loss, Compton saw an underclassman step up: Francis Madera threw for 339 yards and four touchdowns. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in total yards. Ronnie Mixon was Madera's top target, picking up 98 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Paramount's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Compton, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
Paramount will take on Carson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Compton, they are on the road again on Thursday to play Dorsey at 7:00 p.m.
