The Suffolk Christian Academy Knights will take on Bethel Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
On Friday, Suffolk Christian Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Victory Christian and fell 3-2.
Suffolk Christian Academy actually scored more points across those five sets (90-86), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-23, 14-25, 7-25, 15-5.

Despite their loss, Suffolk Christian Academy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Taylor Foster, who had 11 kills, eight digs, three aces, and two blocks, was perhaps the best of all. Foster is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had seven or more in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alison Sue, who had seven aces and one block.
Meanwhile, Bethel Christian made easy work of New Life Academy on Friday and carried off a 3-0 victory.
Bethel Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept New Life Academy between 16 and 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19, 25-16.
Bethel Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Suffolk Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
Suffolk Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Bethel Christian in their previous matchup last Tuesday, winning 3-1. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do Bethel Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
