Baseball Recap: Biddeford's Undefeated Season over After Eight Games

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Biddeford's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Gorham Rams on Tuesday. The match marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Having lost for the first time this season, Biddeford fell to 7-1. As for Gorham, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Biddeford will square off against rival Westbrook at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Gorham is set to face off against their familiar foe Cheverus at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Rams 0.5, the Stags 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
