John Jay put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Arlington Admirals 31-7. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered a 28-21 loss the last time these two teams met.

John Jay got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nate Johnson out in front who picked up 83 receiving yards and a pair of scores, and also rushed for 31 yards. Logan Lawrence was another key passer, throwing for 180 yards and three touchdowns.

John Jay's run defense was locked in: Arlington could only muster 1.7 yards per carry. The team can thank Michael Forlivio for the heroic effort on defense: he. John Jay didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 5.5.

John Jay didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Boston Smith led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

When it comes to explaining why Arlington lost, don't look at Mike Smith. Despite the final result, he picked up 98 receiving yards and one TD. Smith got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 63 yards.

John Jay's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Arlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
