Basketball Game Preview: Deering Rams vs. Windham Eagles

The Deering Rams will face off against the Windham Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Deering: they have been struggling with eight straight losses at home, while Windham has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.

On Tuesday, Deering came up short against Westbrook and fell 48-37.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Windham). They blew past Falmouth, posting a 73-19 victory. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Navigators are ranked 108th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Windham's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Deering, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.
