Basketball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Comes Up Short

Mt. Pleasant played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 67-46 to the Richland Raiders. The Tigers have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Mt. Pleasant still got an impressive performance from Jadon Wilson, who went 8-for-12 en route to 20 points. Wilson is becoming a predictor of the Tigers' success: when he posts at least 20 points the team is 2-1 (and 12-13 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Malaki Wilson, who posted 12 points.

Mt. Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Richland, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Mt. Pleasant nor Richland have any future games scheduled.
