Basketball Recap: Cisne Takes a Loss

Cisne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 66-45 to the Webber Trojans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Runnin' Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-33 back in December of 2024.

Nathaniel Marlow was his usual excellent self, putting up 26 points for Webber. Marlow's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Kylan Moser was another key player, scoring 14 points.

Cisne's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Webber, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-2.

Cisne has already played their next contest, a 63-28 defeat against Wayne City on the 22nd. As for Webber, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-51 win against Woodlawn on the 23rd.
