Cathedral had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans on Wednesday as they made off with a 10-1 win. The Fighting Irish might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Sidney Feczko spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 16 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Angie Valentine was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Anna Moore was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Cathedral's victory bumped their record up to 24-2. As for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-12 record this season.

Cathedral has already played their next matchup, a 16-0 win against Herron on the 29th. Indianapolis Bishop Chatard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
