Basketball Recap: Almont Comes Up Short

Almont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 58-30 defeat at the hands of the Imlay City Spartans. The contest marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Almont's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Imlay City, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Coming up, Almont will challenge Croswell-Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Imlay City, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Center Line at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Center Line will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Imlay City surely won't give up without a fight.
