Volleyball Recap: Eastern Hancock Falls Short of Triton Central in the Playoffs

Eastern Hancock and Triton Central squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Eastern Hancock had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Monday.

Josie Hunt paced Eastern Hancock's offense, picking up 15 kills. Hunt got some help from Karly Lowes and her 22 assists.

Eastern Hancock's loss dropped their record down to 25-8. As for Triton Central, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-8.

Eastern Hancock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Triton Central, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial on the 18th.
