Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marlboro). They breezed by the Ocean Township Spartans to the tune of 74-14 on Thursday. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Spartans are ranked 360th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win got Marlboro back to even at 6-6. As for Ocean Township, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Looking ahead, Marlboro will be playing at home against Lacey Township at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Ocean Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
