Basketball Game Preview: Chandler Wolves vs. Casteel Colts

The Chandler Wolves will head out on the road to take on the Casteel Colts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Chandler is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since January 12, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Perry, falling 69-49. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Casteel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 57-37 to Hamilton. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 67th, while the Huskies are ranked 17th).

Chandler's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Casteel, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

Chandler came up short against Casteel when the teams last played on January 10th, falling 45-35. Can Chandler avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
