Softball Recap: Westland Hialeah Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Westland Hialeah's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Hialeah-Miami Lakes Trojans on Monday. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row dating back to last season.

Westland Hialeah's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hialeah-Miami Lakes, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westland Hialeah will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hialeah-Miami Lakes at 3:30 p.m. on April 7th. As for Hialeah-Miami Lakes, they will face off against Goleman at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
