Cosby entered their tilt with Hancock County on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Hancock County Indians 57-36. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Indians are ranked 392nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cosby pushed their record up to 16-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points over those games. As for Hancock County, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cosby will welcome Union County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hancock County, they will be playing at home against Unaka at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
