Volleyball Recap: Jac-Cen-Del Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Jac-Cen-Del was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Oldenburg Academy Twisters. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Jac-Cen-Del was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-23, 25-12.

Taylor Swinney paced Jac-Cen-Del's offense, picking up seven kills. Swinney got some help from Brooklyn Simon and her 12 assists. Finally, Brynlie Simon kept Jac-Cen-Del's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Jac-Cen-Del's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Oldenburg Academy, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jac-Cen-Del will welcome Switzerland County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oldenburg Academy, they will challenge South Dearborn at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
