Volleyball Recap: Academy of Careers & Exploration Comes Up Short

Academy of Careers & Exploration was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Riverside Prep Silver Knights, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagle of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11, 25-13.

Academy of Careers & Exploration's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Riverside Prep, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Academy of Careers & Exploration will face off against Silver Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverside Prep, they will square off against Big Bear at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Silver Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
