Volleyball Recap: Phillips Comes Up Short

Phillips came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Stratford Tigers, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Loggers have suffered since October 26, 2024.

Annaka Tobias paced Phillips' offense, picking up seven kills. Tobias got some help from Layla Staroba and her 12 assists. Mya Krawczyk controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Phillips' defeat dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Stratford, their victory bumped their record up to 20-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Phillips will welcome Chequamegon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stratford, they will be playing at home against Lakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
