Baseball Recap: Crawford County Comes Up Short

Crawford County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They fell 6-2 to the Orleans Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-4 on Monday.

Crawford County's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Orleans, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crawford County will face off against Perry Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Orleans, they will square off against Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
