Baseball Recap: Carroll Comes Up Short

Carroll lost against Carmel on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Chargers came up short against the Greyhounds, falling 8-1. The game marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Carroll saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxon Craker, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Carroll and nudges their season record down to 7-6. As for Carmel, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Looking ahead, Carroll will be playing at home against Warsaw at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carmel, they will square off against Center Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
