Soccer Recap: Sherman Victorious

Sherman kept a clean sheet against Chapel Hill on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Chapel Hill Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 last Thursday.

Sherman's one-goal win came courtesy of Molly Dollar, who's now up to three this season.

Sherman now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Chapel Hill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Sherman will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Bonham at 5:30 p.m. on January 13th. As for Chapel Hill, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Nacogdoches on the 7th.
