You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Tate's strategy against Aletheia Christian Academy on Thursday. The Tate Aggies were the clear victor by a 44-24 margin over the Aletheia Christian Academy Lions. Winning may never get old, but the Aggies sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Tate was led to victory by Amerie McGee and Sam Williams. McGee posted ten points, while Williams scored 12 points. Sarah Mitchell was another key player, putting up seven points.

Aletheia Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Violet Martin, who had 12 points and five rebounds. Martin is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 21 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Katelyn Davis, who put up five points and six blocks.

Tate now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Aletheia Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 5-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tate will welcome Northview at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Aletheia Christian Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Pensacola Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Pensacola Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Aletheia Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
