Softball Recap: Pickens' Undefeated Season over After Eight Games

Pickens fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Daniel on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 7-6. The loss was the Blue Flame's first of the season.

Kaylee Bolding was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pickens fell to 7-1. As for Daniel, their record is now 6-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pickens will square off against Seneca at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Blue Flame surely won't give up without a fight. As for Daniel, they will take on Walhalla at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions are facing the Razorbacks at the right time seeing as the Razorbacks are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
