Football Recap: Metro Christian Starts Season with Win at Home + How To Watch

Metro Christian took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 35-18 win over the Chisholm Longhorns. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Patriots' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Longhorns are ranked 131st).

Kincayde Eng was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 46 yards and one score, and also threw for 108 yards on seven of 17 attempts.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Metro Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cascia Hall at 7:00 p.m. on September 12. As for Chisholm, they will challenge Hennessey at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
