Baseball Game Preview: East Poinsett County Warriors vs. Green Forest Tigers

The East Poinsett County Warriors will take on the Green Forest Tigers in a tournament on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for East Poinsett County and four for Green Forest.

East Poinsett County's last matchup with Armorel could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Monday. East Poinsett County came up short against Armorel, falling 9-3.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Green Forest was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 11-2 to Flippin.

Green Forest saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braden Epperly, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Jace Meador also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Green Forest's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for East Poinsett County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
