Basketball Recap: Capital Takes a Loss

Capital was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost to the Chapmanville Regional Tigers on the road by a 73-56 margin. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-58 two weeks ago.

Capital's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Chapmanville Regional, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Capital is taking a road trip to square off against St. Albans at 7:00 p.m. on February 24th. As for Chapmanville Regional, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Wayne at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wayne will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Chapmanville Regional surely won't give up without a fight.
