Matthew Austin Game Report: vs Hemet

For the first time in his career, Matthew Austin scored a receiving touchdown on Thursday. He picked up 22 receiving yards and one touchdown as Carter fell to Hemet 46-11. We think that's the best game he's posted since August 22nd, when he made five total tackles and defended one pass.

Looking ahead, Austin and Carter will challenge Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Austin's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Lions' five-game streak of wins at home. With the streak broken, Austin and the Lions surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Friday's match.
