Softball Recap: Pella Comes Up Short

Pella managed to slip by Carlisle the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Dutch lost 12-0 to the Wildcats on Tuesday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Dutch were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Pella and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Carlisle, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Pella will challenge Norwalk at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Carlisle, they will take on A-D-M at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 1.6 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
