Softball Recap: Halifax Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Halifax's offense. They lost 17-0 to the Susquenita Blackhawks on Monday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Blackhawks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Halifax's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Susquenita, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Halifax will square off against East Juniata at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Susquenita, they will challenge Greenwood at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.5 runs per game on average), something the Blackhawks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
