Baseball Game Preview: North Hills Christian Eagles vs. Greater Vision Academy Lions

The North Hills Christian Eagles will challenge the Greater Vision Academy Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither North Hills Christian nor Greater Vision Academy posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

On Tuesday, North Hills Christian came up short against Lake Norman Christian and fell 5-1. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

North Hills Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gracin Craig, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Craig also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Greater Vision Academy's offense. They lost 24-0 to Walkertown on Monday.

North Hills Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. Greater Vision Academy's defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. However, it's not like Greater Vision Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
