Softball Recap: Shadow Ridge Stallions vs. Tolleson Wolverines

Shadow Ridge stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past the Tolleson Wolverines 8-2. The win was familiar territory for Shadow Ridge who now have six in a row.

Jadyn Scott made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits. Scott has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances. Scott was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Shadow Ridge let J'kai'a Graves and Destiny Johnston loose on the outfield. Graves scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Johnston went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI. Kylie Dowden was another key contributor, going 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a double.
