Baseball Recap: Webber Comes Up Short

Webber came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-6 to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Fighting Irish recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Webber now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Notre Dame, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1.

Coming up, Webber will face off against Byron-Bergen at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bees have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.42 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Notre Dame, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-1 victory against School of the Arts on the 11th.
