Volleyball Recap: Peyton Takes a Loss

Peyton lost against Buena Vista back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Demons. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Samantha Nickell paced Peyton's offense, picking up nine kills. Nickell got some help from Cassidy Miller and her 14 assists.

Peyton's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Buena Vista, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Peyton will square off against Calhan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Buena Vista, they have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Rye on the 19th.
