Basketball Recap: Auburndale Comes Up Short

Auburndale and Hurley squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Auburndale had to settle for second. They took a 53-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northstars.

Auburndale's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Hurley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Auburndale nor Hurley have any future games scheduled.
