After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Deerfield, Waukegan was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees as Waukegan made off with a 4-1 win. The score was close at halftime, but Waukegan pulled away in the second half with three goals.

They hit Zion-Benton with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Karolina Lach, Suheil Burgos, Jocelyn Rogel, and Jocelyn Lopez.

Waukegan now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waukegan will face off against Palatine at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Zion-Benton, they will head out to face off against Cristo Rey St. Martin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
