Basketball Recap: Bunker Hill's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Bunker Hill won the last time they faced West Lincoln and Eliana McClain did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bears simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Rebels 58-29 thanks in part to McClain, who shot 54% from the field en route to 17 points and seven steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

Bunker Hill has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 58.5 points this season. As for West Lincoln, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bunker Hill will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Stephens at 6:00 p.m. on December 5. As for West Lincoln, they will face off against Cherryville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rebels are facing the Ironmen at the right time seeing as the Ironmen are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
