Soccer Recap: Marple Newtown Has No Trouble Against Chichester

After failing to score in their last match, Marple Newtown made sure to put some goals up on the board against Chichester on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Eagles. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Marple Newtown's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Their offense was hitting Chichester from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Kai Schultz led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Marple Newtown now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Chichester, they now have a losing record of 3-4-1.

Looking ahead, Marple Newtown will head out to face off against Strath Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chichester, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Penncrest at 3:30 p.m. on the 16th.
