Football Preview: Beaumont Cougars vs. San Juan Hills Stallions        
        
		
             Two dominant  signal callers in  Jeremiah Duhu and  Timmy Herr are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Beaumont Cougars will take on the San Juan Hills Stallions at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 San Juan Hills is hoping to do what Redlands couldn't  last Thursday: put an end to Beaumont's winning streak, which now stands at six games. Beaumont breezed by Redlands to the tune of  51-17. The  matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Cougars had established  a  30 point advantage.
 It was another big night for  Duhu, who rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 180 yards and three touchdowns while completing 90% of his passes. He has been hot recently, having  posted three or more  passing touchdowns the last four times he's  played. Backing up that air attack was  Trashawn James-Reek, who rushed for 89 yards and two  rushing touchdowns.
 Beaumont was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 226  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 181  rushing yards in seven consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile, San Juan Hills waltzed into their match  on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They took their  contest  with ease, bagging  a  42-7 victory over the Titans. Given the Stallions' advantage  in MaxPreps' California football rankings  (they are ranked 18th, while the Titans are ranked 161st), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Herr was  his usual excellent self, throwing for 300 yards and four touchdowns while completing 82.8% of his passes, and also rushing for 55 yards. That's the most  rushing yards  he has posted since back in November of 2023.  Ryan Matheson also helped out as he racked up 105 receiving yards.
 San Juan Hills didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Dean Kolasinski and  Jake Vuoso. Another thorn in Tesoro's side was  Tanner Rohan, who picked up  a  sack and made seven total tackles (2.0 for loss).
 San Juan Hills' win was  their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 9-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 38.3 points per game. As for Beaumont, their record now sits at 9-1.
