Basketball Recap: South Holt Comes Up Short

South Holt lost against Union Star back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The South Holt Knights fell 33-23 to the Union Star Trojans. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Holt's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Union Star, with the win, they broke their 18-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-15.

South Holt will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Platte at 6:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Union Star will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Northeast Nodaway at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
