Basketball Recap: Shoreland Lutheran Comes Up Short

Shoreland Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were beaten by the Racine Case Eagles 86-56. The Pacers lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 63-58 score last time.

Shoreland Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Racine Case, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shoreland Lutheran has already played their next matchup (against Messmer), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Racine Case won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Kenosha Tremper at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Racine Case knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Kenosha Tremper likes a good challenge.
