Basketball Recap: Comstock Victorious

Knippa came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Comstock, but Creed Hardin wouldn't allow it. The Comstock Panthers walked away with a 43-36 win over the Knippa Crushers on Friday thanks in part to Hardin, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 13 points along with six boards and four steals. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two).

The victory got Comstock back to even at 10-10. As for Knippa, they now have a losing record at 11-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Comstock Panthers challenge the Medina Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Knippa, they will challenge Nueces Canyon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
