Baseball Recap: Ephrata Comes Up Short

Ephrata had taken East Valley down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 10-3 to the Red Devils. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Red Devils from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Ephrata and nudges their season record down to 3-9. As for East Valley, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ephrata is set to challenge their familiar foe Prosser at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, East Valley will face off against rival Othello at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Red Devils 1.6, the Huskies 1.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
