Sunset came into Friday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Homestead Broncos by a score of 2-0 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on March 4th.

Oscar Sanchez paced Sunset's offense, picking up nine kills. Sanchez got some help from Vincent Jones and his 27 assists. Johan Lorenzo and Johan Canas-Devia kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Sunset's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Homestead, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Sunset has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Coral Park on the 21st. As for Homestead, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Divine Savior Academy on the 21st.
