Soccer Recap: Chico Triumphs

Chico was handed a three-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Florin, sneaking past 1-0. Chico's winning goal came courtesy of Jose Jr. Zavala.

Chico's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Florin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Chico will venture away from home to face off against Williams at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Florin, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Union Mine at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
