Volleyball Recap: Crosby Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Crosby kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to the Shadow Creek Sharks. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Sharks recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12, 25-9.

Kylie Green paced Crosby's offense, picking up four kills. Green got some help from Hannah Henry and her four assists. Brianna Samuel controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Crosby has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Galena Park on the 14th. As for Shadow Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Floresville on the 14th.
