Basketball Game Preview: Rittman Indians vs. Dalton Bulldogs

Rittman hasn't had much luck against Dalton recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Rittman Indians will venture away from home to face off against the Dalton Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Rittman has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Rittman turned things around against New London on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wildcats, sneaking past 52-50.

Meanwhile, Dalton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Huskies 79-57. The Bulldogs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Rittman's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Dalton, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Rittman came up short against Dalton when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 57-47. Can Rittman avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
