After a string of seven wins, Highland's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against the Brookland Bearcats, falling 20-9. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Rebels, who until this game were averaging 3.64 runs allowed.

James Jensen was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last eight games he's played.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 22-3. As for Brookland, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

While Highland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
