Baseball Game Preview: Mora Rangers/Rangerettes vs. Capitan Tigers

The Mora Rangers/Rangerettes will head out on the road to face off against the Capitan Tigers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses dating back to last season for Mora and ten for Capitan dating back to last season.

Mora fell victim to Dexter and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Demons, falling 21-0.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Capitan challenged McCurdy on Friday. The Tigers fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 11-9. On the bright side, the nine- run effort marked the Tigers' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Damian Cox made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole five bases while going 1-for-2. Christian Marquez-Padilla was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

Capitan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Mora, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
