Football Game Preview: Eastern Guilford Wildcats vs. Asheboro Blue Comets + How To Watch

Eastern Guilford has gone a perfect 5-0 against Asheboro recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wildcats will square off against the Blue Comets at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Guilford will be strutting in after a win while Asheboro will be coming in after a defeat.

Eastern Guilford will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up ten points last Friday, then bounced right back against Southern Guilford on Friday. The Wildcats enjoyed a cozy 31-13 victory over the Storm. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Storm are ranked 278th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Eastern Guilford relied on the efforts of Tyler Whaley-Melvin, who rushed for 150 yards and one touchdown, and Javion Majette, who rushed for 54 yards and three scores.
